Applied Microbiology International has launched a call for applications after announcing its 2025 Grant Portfolio.
The updated grants reflect feedback from our community and our vision to empower microbiology professionals at every stage of their careers.

Scientific Event Travel Grant
Now open to a broader range of events aligned with AMI’s strategic goals, offering increased flexibility for international travel.
New Lecturer Research Grant
Includes a dedicated award for researchers from minoritised or low-income communities, fostering greater inclusivity in research.
Sustainable Microbiology Novel Research Grant
We continue to support groundbreaking research projects and innovative pilots aimed at tackling sustainability challenges.
Registration Fees Grant
Expanded to support participation in a wider range of events, enabling more members to showcase their work and develop their networks.
AMI Summer Studentship Grant
