Bernadette Dora Gombossy de Melo Franco

Bernadette Franco is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Sao Paulo, specializing in food microbiology. She coordinates the Food Research Center (FoRC) and is a consultant for the International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF). Her work focuses on food safety and quality, with extensive publications and the 2023 textbook Food Microbiology, co-authored with M. Landgraf.
